2GG RF COMMUNICATION MODULES
2GG-ME GEN
​
2GG ME GENERIC is a transceiver module for different meter types. It collects data from impulse, analogue or digital outputs. The 2GG ME Generic is designed to simplify installation and usage. All device settings and configurations are controlled on the 2GG Cloud or via the 2GG Server software. For communication with 2GG concentrators/gateways the device is using the 2GG protocol, with support for 250 mW or 500 mW output power. The 2GG ME Generic devices are battery powered, with a lifespan of up to 10 years, depending on settings and type of communication.

2GG-ME GEN TYPES
The 2GG ME GEN is a RF transceiver module with many possible extensions. Due to the wide range of supported input connections, it offers wireless communication capabilities for multiple different devices (water, heat, cold, gas and electricity meters as well as different sensors). The metering device type is defined at production, therefore changes to the type of supported devices can not be changed afterwards. Each specific version has its own hardware extension and meter communication firmware to ensure the best possible performance. Due to the unique 2GG communication protocol and services all data sent from 2GG ME Generic devices is organized and displayed uniformly for all connected devices.

2GG ME 01
Simply connect ME 01 to a supported gas meter and it will wirelessly deliver data to your server

2GG ME 01 is a transceiver module for Elster diaphragm gas meters (or other meters with same form factor). It collects data from impulse outputs via a reed switch or hall sensor on top of the device. The 2GG ME01 is designed to simplify installation and usage. All device settings and configurations are controlled on the 2GG Cloud or via the 2GG Server software.
For communication with 2GG concentrators/gateways the device is using the 2GG protocol, with support for 250 mW or 500 mW output power. The 2GG ME01 devices are battery powered, with a lifespan of up to 12 years, depending on settings and type of communication.

2GG ME CF Module
Communication module for Itron CF Echo, CF55 and CF 800 calorimeters
​
2GG ME CF Module is a wireless module for communication with wired M-Bus on Itrons calorimeters. Module applies M-Bus communication protocol on an application level, whereas on the physical level there is a standard serial connection with voltage level 3,6V. All settings for 2GG ME CF Module and calorimeter can be changed on the server.
​
For communication with 2GG concentrator/gateway/repeaters 2GG ME CF applies wireless 2GG protocol that supports transmission powers 250 mW or 500 mW. 2GG ME CF Modul applies batteries for operation, with battery life up to 13 years, which will depend upon settings and type of communication. In the case of Itron CF 800 the module can recharge also from the calorimeter.
